Cribs around the world

Following my post on the cribs in me home and me parish and the Vatican, I'd like to highlight some cribs from around Penang, taken last year, and cribs around the world, courtesy of Mark in Ireland who just finished a European tour.

First, Cribs in Penang.

This crèche is located in the Malaysian National Shrine of St. Anne on the mainland.
Here's a close-up.
There's another beautiful one in the Church too, below.

In the former Cathedral of the Assumption.

Ok, after those nice ones, here's the creche from the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit.

It's slightly garish and small for my taste. Note the tabernacle on the left of the photo below.

From another angle.
Here's one in the local Catholic gift shop. Nice.

The ones below are from Mark's blog.

Clacton-on-Sea, England.

Inside St. Mary's Pro-cathedral, Dublin.

Notre Dame, Paris, above and below..

Somewhere in the middle of Edinburgh...

In Co. Londonderry in Northern Ireland.

Give Mark a visit. Let him know Andrew sent you!
