By which He has granted to Andrew His precious and exceedingly great promises; that through these Andrew may become a partaker of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world by lust. (2 Pet. 1:4)
Even when Andrew was dead in trespasses, God made Andrew alive together with Christ (by grace Andrew has been saved), and raised Andrew up with Him and made Andrew to sit with Him in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. (Eph. 2:5-6)
It's from a new personalized Promise Bible. I know its kinda tacky, but sometimes we do tend to forget that God's Word is addressed to us personally as well.
Reading this enfleshes what I already know but sometimes forget.
Here's more about what the Bible says about me. =)
John 1:12 Andrew is God's son.
But Andrew received Him, and to Andrew He gave the right to become God's son, because Andrew believes in His name.
John 15:5 Andrew is a part of the true vine, and a channel of Christ's life.
I am the vine. Andrew is a branch. If Andrew remains in Me, and I in him, he will bear much fruit, for apart from Me, Andrew can do nothing.
John 15:15 Andrew is a friend of Christ.
No longer do I call Andrew a servant, for a servant doesn't know what his lord does. But I have called Andrew a friend, for everything that I heard from My Father, I have made known to Andrew.
Rom. 8:17 Andrew is a joint heir with Christ, he shares Christ's inheritance with Him.
And if a son, then an heir; an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ; if indeed Andrew suffers with Him, that Andrew may also be glorified with Him.
I Cor. 3:9 Andrew is God's co-worker.
For Andrew is one of God's fellow workers. Andrew is God's field, God's building.
Eph. 1:5-6 Andrew has been adopted by God as His son.
Having predestined Andrew for adoption as a son through Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His desire, to the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He freely bestowed favor on Andrew in the Beloved.
Eph. 2:5-6 Andrew has been made alive with Christ and he is seated with Christ in the heavenly places.
Even when Andrew was dead in his trespasses, God made him alive together with Christ (by grace Andrew has been saved), and raised Andrew up with Him and made Andrew to sit with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Eph. 2:10 Andrew is God's workmanship, His handiwork.
For Andrew is His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that Andrew should walk in them.
Col. 1:27 Christ Himself is in Andrew.
To whom God was pleased to make known what are the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles, which is Christ in Andrew, the hope of glory.
Andrew Is Loved.
John 3:15-16 Andrew has eternal life in Christ.
Andrew, believing in Him, shall not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved Andrew, that He gave His one and only Son, that Andrew, believing in Him, should not perish, but have eternal life.
Eph. 1:3 Andrew has been blessed with every spiritual blessing.
Blessed be the God and Father of Andrew's Lord, Jesus Christ, who has blessed Andrew with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.
Andrew Is Chosen.
John 15:16 Andrew has been chosen and appointed by Christ to bear His fruit.
Andrew didn't choose Me, but I chose Andrew, and appointed him, that he should go and bear fruit, and that his fruit should remain; that whatever Andrew will ask of the Father in My name, He may give it to him.
Andrew Is Forgiven.
John 5:24 Andrew has passed from death to life in Christ.
Most assuredly I tell you, if Andrew hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, Andrew has eternal life, and doesn't come into judgment, but he has passed out of death into life.
Rom. 3:24 Andrew has been justified through grace.
Andrew is justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.
Rom. 5:1 Andrew has been justified, completely forgiven, made righteous, and has peace.
Being therefore justified by faith, Andrew has peace with God through his Lord, Jesus Christ.
Rom. 8:1-2 Andrew is forever free from condemnation.
There is therefore now no condemnation for Andrew because he is in Christ Jesus, because Andrew doesn't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus made Andrew free from the law of sin and death.
Rom. 8:31-34 Andrew is free from any condemning charges against him.
What then shall we say about these things? If God is for Andrew, who can be against him? He who didn't spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for Andrew, how would He not also with Him freely give Andrew all things? Who could bring a charge against Andrew, because he is one of God's elect? It is God who justifies Andrew. Who is He who condemns? It is Christ who died, and more than that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God and makes intercession for Andrew.
